Open Photo Competition - week's extension.

Hi Anita,

I agree with you we should extend the deadline for entries to 16 March - it still gives us a week before the judging.

I have another 7 prints for the competition but no juniors.

If anyone has children, grandchildren or nieces and nephews in the right age range do encourage them to send in some entries - they will have a very good chance of winning.

Personally I'd have had the 'Junior' section for under 16s, or under 15s - as I think under 13 is probably too young. I think more would have entered that section if the age was a bit higher, as I think a lot of kids only get into hobbies like photography as teenagers. Just my opinion. I guess it's too late now, but maybe next year, if there's going to be a similar category I'd make it a little higher.
