Pastel Images

Hi, regarding Irene Froy's pastel images, I would like to create this type of effect, just read a tutorial on pastels in photoshop, perhaps you can try it also to see if anyone has success ?

Upload picture - Adjust Channel Mixer, in red channel adjust sliders red- 100, green +50, blue +31, constant -minus 11. Then change output channel to green and adjust red to +15, green - 100, blue +60, constant to minus 11. Then finally Output to blue, alter red to +28, blue - 100, green +23, and constant minus 11.
