Welcome to our Club Website


Webheath Digital Photography Club is based in Webheath, Redditch, Worcestershire.

If you have an interest in digital photography, regardless of experience, you're welcome to attend our meetings

 

We are a relatively new club having been formed in January 2007 and our aim is to provide a relaxing informal but stimulating environment for anyone interested in digital photography.

Get snapping for charity photo competition in Redditch
 

REDDITCH mayor Malcolm Hall has launched an open photo competition which is being organised by Webheath Digital Photography Club.

 

The competition in aid of the mayor’s charities which are Indigo Arts and the sea cadets.

 

Photos of any subject will be accepted during the month of February, and there will be two age categories - up to 12, and 13 years and over.

 

Judging of all entries in the competition will be made by an independent judge at Webheath Village Hall on Tuesday, March 23 at 8pm to which everyone is welcome.

 

The final 10 will be shown as part of an exhibition in The Room Upstairs at the Palace Theatre, Redditch, from April 22-24. The two winners will be chosen by public vote.

 

The entry fee per photo is £1 and all proceeds will go to the mayor’s charities. Prizes will be awarded to the two winners.

Monthly Assignments


Once a month we run assignments. To submit images for assignments, please do so by the following Way:

 

 

  • Title your images to what is required to be shown e.g. Sunset.jpg.

 

  • Ensure that your images have been sized to 800 pixels along the longest edge with a dpi of 72

     

 

Your images may feature within the gallery alongside any others submitted. Members can then cast their vote for their favourite photography submitted for the month.

News

Since the Club started in January 2007, membership has risen to over 30 with a regular attendance of between 15 and 20 members, plus visitors, each Tuesday. We enter our forth year with the announcement of an open photo competition and public exhibition. May we express thanks to the committee of 2009.
